It is heartening to see many grassroots, non-profits groups springing up in NYC. I think there is a need to combine our forces together. So this is a group for organizers of grassroots, non-profits, for good meetup groups. We meet to share ideas, space, resources, and to coodinate our events and efforts. The group mission, name, activites, and so on will be determined through a community process. At this point, the name is only temporary.
