The Readington Community Garden is a loosely organized collection of nice people who are interested in growing food and community. You can "belong" to the community garden any time of the year by just showing up, doing some work, and bringing home some good food. … Anything other than a light drizzle will cancel the official/"posted" hike, but hey "it's a free country"-so if a hike is "officially" canceled by the organizer (or the person who posted it)but some members decide to go anyway-that's o.k. People can do all/part/or even add to to the addt'l hike. Just try to be mindful of all safety issues. This group is dedicated to bringing organization around our volunteer base. The group will work with the dogs in our care. We will organize events in public to gain the dogs exposure to possible homes. We will also organize fund raising events to pay for the care of lead the way foster dogs.
